Does your tree have a pickle?

Does your tree have a pickle?

Or a fancy spider?

We bought a fresh tree for the first time in about 15 years.

Some of my favorite ornaments are older than me.

Hubby snapped a pic before I was even done decorating.

Even though there is much to still get done,
take time to enjoy the season!

  3. I actually have heard of the pickle tradition. My sister lived in Cincinnati and it was very big there. Your tree is very pretty. I too, have some of my families old ornaments. They mean more to me than all the themed trees that I see.

  4. A beautiful tree, and no, our trees doesn't have a pickle, nor a spider, lol.
I always decorate my tree with all the things that my children made when they were little. And this year I will add my Santa ornaments, too.

  5. I have a pink spider a stitching buddy from Australia made for me at least 8 years ago (when I was going through BC) and it goes in the front of my tree every year! Your tree is lovely--I like the vintage ornies! Hugs!
